I would get a multi generation doodle- bred for generations with labradoodles.[/quote] We have a multi-generational labradoodle. He just turned 3 and he is delightful. Playful, but he can and does sleep pretty much all day if he wants to :) He doesn't shed at ALL which is a huge benefit over a Lab, but you do need to brush/groom regularly.
