I think the real problem on him going down on those charges is that, if he really is giving control of the United States to Russia, it's not clear that just punishing him and a few associates on RICO charges would be enough to the Russian control structure out of the U.S. government. I don't even care all that much if Russia is just spying on us the usual way. But if it's really trying to steer the United States around like a great big drone, then I want someone to disconnect us from the Russian joystick. Just sending Trump to prison is useless if Putin can still make us crash into the ground whenever he feels like it.[/quote]
