No.

As someone pointed, the chart shows you RMHS stats, not RMIB stats.  But, let's say for argument sake, that the entire stats is for RMIB.

RMIB has 100 students per grade - so senior class = 100
Churchill has about 500 seniors

Let's say 5 per each school got into x university.

RM  = 5/100 = 5%
Churchill = 5/500 = 1%

5% is a better rate than 1%.
Now, let's look at RMHS as a whole.  It has about a 20% FARMS rate, while Churchill has a &lt; 5% FARMS rate.  So, even if you look at RMHS as a whole, that table of college acceptance rate is pretty darn good for RMHS compared to WCHS.[/quote]

To compare rates (effect of school), we have to make equal denominators, e.g. compare those with same SAT scores, EC, leadership etc. They will apply for the same X university. We have to make two assumptions (1) the 100 RMIB kids from all over the county have better profiles than(or equal) those top 100 at churchhill since churchhill students participate magnet test as well. (2) all these 200 target for the same x university. RM kids and other 400 at churchhill is a confoundig factor. for a fair comparision, compare similar students.
