[/quote] We live in a country where economic opportunity is too limited, and one of the things that maintains inequality is the unequal funding of education, with the poorest people having the least well funded schools. Say what you will about FFX county (and there are things I don't like about it) the way its geography forces the wealthiest folks in the County to help pay for the schools and services of the least wealthy (even if they don't actually have to send their kids to school with the poors) is one of the few bright spots on that scene.
