You can't accidentally post it if someone didn't create it. And there was no reason for anyone to create it now other than wishful thinking. Even if they keep these kinds of templates for public figures so they can put them up quickly if something happened, there's no reason to fill in a year of death until the death happens, it's an easy one to add quickly.[/quote]

Matt Whitlock, former Deputy Chief of Staff and Communications Director for Orin Hatch has said that even though Hatch is younger than RBG, he would routinely have major outlets request advance obit information.  It's not uncommon.

You probably didn't even know about it because Hatch made a light hearted moment of is...........No outrage.
