Imagine the pollution and traffic if there weren't buses for the magnet programs; everybody who was able to get driven, got driven in individual cars; and everyone who wasn't able to get driven just didn't get to go at all.[/quote]

The point is no magnet schools at all which I agree with.  And the bus hardly saves pollution. Many parents still drive the entire route, and all of them drive and idle to each bus stop at the very least too. [/quote]
