OP here.

i walked through that development (yes you can do that) many times. it's very central, which is nice, but doesn't feel any safer than locust point or any harbor high-rise. my fear in baltimore is that i would be robbed on a gun point while walking down the street, say. or perhaps car-jacking. there are many many condos and homes in baltimore where you are safe from a break-in - i don't really feel like that's a big issue, safety-wise. Yes, but the street and only entrance is gated off here? So you’re not worried about someone coming up on you as you pull out the car or walk your dog in front of your house. I mean - once you leave for groceries all bets are off but that at least is some comfort I’d imagine. [/quote]
