The women aren't the ones who come up with the ideas about timing, turning 30, whatever; that's what these guys told them. And maybe the men believed it themselves; maybe they thought there would be some magical moment when they'd wake up, look at the woman they like well enough, and finally think, "I can't live without her." But then, they finally break up, and he realizes she was the wrong woman, rather than it being the wrong timing. I still agree with the OP, though. Whatever he SAID at the time, the reality is that if she had been the one he wanted to marry, they would have gotten married. They just weren't right together, and that's what she needs to accept.[/quote]
