Do you have any understanding of what caused your previous mmc? If so, that might cause them to decide to do early pregnancy support such as progesterone suppositories or baby aspirin...most regular OBs don't know anything about these treatments, so you would need an RE to do them.

And PP is right that GW RE is totally different from GW OB. I finally got pregnant with my first at GW RE after 5 rounds of IVF, and they monitored me until about 8w. Then I switched to the regular OB practice there which treated me as if I were a brand-new patient (I think I even had to go through the whole rigamarole of transferring my records).

FWIW, if it were me I would call the GW RE clinic. It will give you peace of mind, I think.[/quote]
