You can compare the price of a stock today to the price of the same stock a year ago (unless there was a split or some other unusual activity), but you can't really compare the price of one stock to the price of another with any meaning. For example, Coca-Cola trades for around $215 a share, and Pepsi trades for around $115 a share. Does that mean Coca-Cola is a better investment than the other? (No)[/quote]
