This is what worked for me and removed most of my KP in two months - - Start of by exfoliating using Nair hair remover - all over the KP area. Follow directions and wash off after 3 minutes. - Aloe gel after nair exfoliation. Gentle exfoliation with dry wash cloth when skin is dry and then lather on moisturizer with glycerine:water (1:1) + aspirin powder + Tree tea oil. - Next day - massage sesame oil on skin before bath. Wait for 1 hour, then use any gentle cleanser (cerave or glycerine soap) scrub in circular motion with soft side of puf-buf pas, follow with moisturizer with added glycerine:water mix (1:1) + crushed aspirin powder + Tree Tea oil. Do the bolded daily. I got generic aspirin from dollar store and used my coffee grinder to make it into a powder, to add to my normal body lotion, + added glycerine:water 1:1) + few drops of tea-tree oil in the lotion too. KP happens because your skin clogs the pores. Exfoliation and moisturizing is the key. A good scrub with puf buf will physically loosen the skin and remove it, but also strip off the moisture from your skin. If you feel that your skin becomes dry at bedtime, rub dry skin with a dry wash cloth (without any fabric softener used in it) and then use your moisturizer. Adding tea-tree oil will kill off any fungal infection that may happen because you are using so much of oil and moisturizer to your skin. It provides food for the yeast already on your skin, so you need to take care of that too. Good luck. BTW - my moisturizer hack also makes your skin super silky. Something that is not what you associate with KP sufferers. Don't forget to drink lots of warm water with lemon through out the day.
