Hey principles, it's called positive reinforcement![/quote] I agree with this but at some lower ranked schools, I think the mentality is that the students who do well have parents who are there for them and generally have all their needs met. How can you celebrate those kids doing well when you have plenty of other kids who don't have enough to eat, just arrived in the country without any formal schooling, whose parents are absent or all of the above? My kid got all As so I'm waiting to see if there will be something for him, but I'm not holding my breath.[/quote]
