Where is the coach who recruited her going?   Is it worth looking at that school?   I assume she had some connection there and coach connection matters when playing at the next level.

For Notre Dame can she get a tutor to go all in and increase SAT scores?   Having someone look at where she was weak and focus on 3 areas can make a big difference given where she is with her scores.

An aside- Everyone I know who went to Villanova had an incredible experience and loves it.  They will go on and on about what a great choice it was for them.   My Boston College friends are not the same.[/quote]

That’s actually a fine SAT score. Sure, she could try for more but that’s nothing to worry about.

They take kids with that SAT score - regularly admit kids with slightly lower even.
Bigger deal is her wanting to be in a catholic environment, catholic school, visiting the school and the fact that she has taken rigorous courses.
She has a good shot. Too bad the early deadline has passed but aren’t there two early deadlines? No Early Action? [/quote]
