Why do democrats even talk about the achievement gap given it is the consequence of their design policies? The issue is parenting and work ethic
I'm a former R, and I don't agree with bolded. But I do agree that parenting and work ethic do play a huge role in how well a child will do in school. I'm also an immigrant whose parents had an ES level education and grew up poor. I've been using voter411 to get more information on the candidates.
democrat policies destroy the family and created reliance. This will manifest itself in parenting and work ethic and that impacts results in schools. Is it worth having a loyal voter being reliant on the state for life and intergenerationally? That is the result of your policies
Some of the Dem policies help give low income families a leg up to escape poverty. Taking away every single social safety doesn't help low income people either. Throwing a child who doesn't know how to swim in a shark infested water won't really help that child learn to swim. Sure, some lucky kids will escape the shark, but most will get eaten up by it. I grew up low income and used to be a R. I'm no longer a registered R, but neither am I full liberal. I just did early voting and actually voted for a couple of Rs.
