Dear Rec Coaches:

The deadline to apply to the ART is this Sunday night, November 4th. The ART is our optional, end of the season tournament for REC teams.  At the moment, we are looking for additional teams in all the 3rd to 8th grade age groups, but especially for 3rd grade girls, 5th grade boys, and 6th-8th grade teams of both genders.

Teams are guaranteed three games each, with awards for the Champions and Finalists. Games will be played on the Gunston and Williamsburg Middle School turf fields, meaning that the competition can take place regardless of rain or wet field conditions.

This is a great venue for teams to get additional playing time against new opponents. Of the teams thus far registered, only HALF are Arlington Soccer teams, with the rest coming from Loudoun, Maryland and DC. PLEASE look at the rules/information link here, and email Tournament Director Jerry Ellison here if you have any questions. Any net profits from the ART Tournament Fees go to support Rec Soccer financial aid, so it is for a good cause![/quote]
