He was really sweet and totally willing to do it but we don't usually spend more than $30 or $40 bucks, even on gifts for each other, without discussing it so I guess he wanted to check.  I thought that was outrageous and told him to never mind.

After taking a 2.5 mile walk and having some spicy mexican food for lunch today (a girl's gotta try to move this along if she can) we decided to check out what Party City had and sure enough you can buy a variety of "Baby Announcement" signs from $5 to $35.  We got a great 4-foot wide lawn sign that says, "It's a Girl!" for $8.  I think we will get some great pics of the arrival home (hopefully soon)!

Anyway I just wanted to share so others don't waste the $70plus on renting a sign. :mrgreen: [/quote]
