I am also someone who lacks will power. I am not one who can do keto, give up sugars, etc. I am everything but smaller quantities and I am losing weight. It's not coming off fast like other diets, but I can do it because I am not depriving myself of foods I like. I aim to eat half of what is on my plate but what has really helped me is that I load up on well prepared, flavorful vegetables and eat all of those. They fill me up.
+1 But I had to do this gradually, and have to really stick to it otherwise, I'll have a really huge craving and relapse. It helped shrink my stomach and then I naturally got full with smaller quantities of food. Start with small goals, don't compare your weight loss with others, it is a marathon and you need something that you can keep up with long term even after your weight loss. Do an activity that will work for you, start with a 5-10 minute activity, once you build up stamina, add 5-10 minutes more.
