I am gearing up to start the transfer process for #2. I just turned 40 (was 39 when DS was born) and I am really anxious about whether or not either embryo will take. We really really want another child and I feel like if we have to go back to retrievals it will take years again, which we don’t have this time.

So I guess my question is, what have others’ experiences been with transfers for additional children once you already had the embryos banked? Did it take the same amount of transfers as for the first or more/less?

I am thinking positively but also want to be realistic that this isn’t a sure thing just because it worked the first time.[/quote]
