Seems excessive for an IUI.[/quote] At SGF we had three HCG tests every other day (excluding weekend) starting at 14 DPIUI. Then an ultrasound at 6.5 weeks. One possible reason for multiple blood tests is to screen for a possible ectopic pregnancy (maybe then do the ultrasound sooner rather than later). Or it could just be to make more money. SGF initially wanted me to come in for a second ultrasound at 8 weeks even though everything looked "perfect", so no real reason not to release us back to my OB. Fortunately my nurse knew my insurance would not cover the 2nd ultrasound and had me cancel it.[/quote]
