I don't think she is the issue. If I had to guess based on my child's experience at PBES - white middle class parents are VERY vocal about demanding differentiation and de facto segregation (hence PBES getting two CES local classrooms before most schools got one). The obvious downside is that kids of color and poor/working class kids are not served as well as they could be if the parent body wanted to see every kid succeed. [/quote]
