So what are these different forces?  USSF/SUM/MLS?  The rest of the world has open system in pretty much every professional league with real pressure on the clubs to perform well.  It is the norm in virtually every country in the world.  It seem to me that if a closed system is bad for youth soccer, it can't be healthy for professional soccer.  [/quote]
