For dinner-time. We are charged with selecting one for a group of 8. Youngest kid is 4. We were asked for "typical French fare". When I go to Paris, I eat my favorite Berber couscous, Peking duck and lamen, not in the same places, and perhaps sarrasin crepes with cidre, but I don't do typical French! There's no such thing anyway. However this is the request from people I don't say no to. Any ideas?
Uh, there is typical French. Your typical brasserie has a pretty similar menu across the board. Which I love. Even the bistros are more similar than dissimilar. It's the quality that varies, not the style of food on offer. Just go to TheFork for Paris and see what restaurants are available in your area. https://www.thefork.com/city/paris/415144
