My son loves sesame street! I decided to have his first birthday party at sesame place...BIG MISTAKE! I was misinformed from the first phone call i made in April! I was originally told by a customer service rep that guest could sit in the lunch with Elmo for the entire day. After several confirmations and asking the rep to confirm with her supervisor, I purchased 13 tickets for lunch with Elmo. I called back a month later to confirm the lunch and the new rep told me that you cannot sit in the room for the entire day. I was a little annoyed but I had several older family members coming from out of state and I needed a place for them to sit and be comfortable, so I decided to purchase 3 cabanas. When you purchase a cabana you have to pay for every person, including infants. I purchased 3 CABANAS, AT $300 A PIECE. I WAS TOLD ALL OF THE CABANAS WOULD BE NEXT TO ONE ANOTHER!! Due to the mistake that was made prior I asked the rep several times if the cabanas would be next to one another because this was for my son's 1st birthday. I was told they would be next to each because they were purchased together. On June 16th 2018 I arrive at sesame place and THE CABANAS ARE NOT NEXT TO ONE ANOTHER!!! One of the cabanas was not next to the other two. The young man who showed me the cabanas could not explain why they are not together. Since the cabana was not next tobthe others we did not use the cabana at all. My guest were cramped and uncomfortable. Each cabana was $300, I paid for 3...i paid $900 plus tax. I was contacted by the marketing manger Bobby cane and he stated he wanted to make it right. I received an email from a woman named Kimberly stating Mr. Cane sent an email stating they would give me a credit of 10% for the cabanas not being together. I explain that was totally unacceptable! I was unable to use the cabana and my guest were uncomfortable. I asked if there was someone else I would be able to speak to but I never received a response. IT IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE AND DISHEARTENING THAT SESAME PLACE..WOULD BE SO UNORGANIZED AND LACKING THE COMPASSION TO MAKE THIS MISTAKE CORRECT! TO OFFER A $30 CREDIT IS NOT ONLY DISHEARTENING AND SAD, IT IS AN INSULT, ADMISSION TO THE PARK IS $70 PLUS TAX. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO SESAME PLACE!
