Hamptons has changed a lot. I spent 11 summers in a row in Hamptons every weekend from Memorial Day to Labor Day and last two weeks of July. They killed the big clubs, share houses, fun beaches, then old money moved on and cheesy wannabes moved in. Puff Daddy was the first along with MTV beach house. I straddled the line between Bordy Barn/Neptune drunken debauchry and old money. I once went to a party at Christina Lawford house and John Kennedy Junior was there as well as a real Rockerfella. Went to Hampton Classic back in day saw Paul Newman and tons of celebs. I met in my random list of celebs, Fabio, girl who played John Stamos wife in full house (bitchy) Steven Spielberg who had a place on my block, snoop dog, Tara Banks, Susan Luchi, Bud Bundi (jerk), Matt Dylan and Harrission Ford. So random and fun. I once threw a house part at my summer place for 300 people and went to a 3,000 person house party once Not a lot of folks have second homes there are less fun party share houses the younger folks have been priced out of Hamptons and DWIs and smartphones cut back on fun. Ron Perlman is last guy still throwing blow out parties. Back in 1980s he threw a party for his daughters sweet 16 in his backyard that cost one million. His parties today are even better
I love Ron Perlman! I bet his parties are unreal. How do I get an invite to that?
