I eventually said that I would. I'm not an "ass kisser" and don't expect it to get my son any favoritism - he is one of the weaker players on the team and IMO, should be grateful to have been offered a spot. What he does with that spot is on him. But given that the club does not hire a team manager, somebody had to do it.[/quote]
