It was a year of impersonal and tedious group exercises and several dropped it, but the talented male and female coach they had recently improved it. They are both leaving. Coerver is a name McLean uses to sell its summer camp FBOW. Most McLean coaches will tell you that U8 is better spent being on an actual team, and then adding in one extra night of Coerver type footwork. A full year of Coerver Method Juniors sounds like an experiment with no track record, but probably was an easy solution given the loss of two good coaches.
