You cannot tell your body what to get rid of. However, intermittent fasting does not increase/decrease the rate of muscle loss on it's own. A deficiency in protein will increase muscle loss during any caloric deficit. I really wish the people who posted in this forum would do just a LITTLE bit of research before posting nonsense like "fasting is starving yourself." [/quote]
