San Francisco has very strict AirBnB regulation so there are not very many of them, and they tend not to be in the tourist districts. They are likely to be much farther from the attractions and not as central to transit (but it really depends--if you see specific places you're interested in, you could post the neighborhoods for more feedback).

If you consider the attractions to include places like Muir Woods, Point Reyes, UC Berkeley, etc.--you might consider an AirBnB outside of San Francisco, which are cheaper and easier to find, but not as central to San Francisco activities.[/quote]
