At this point I really have no respect for her and she has no respect for us. I doubt she will be happy either way though. I'll do whatever is best for the kids and my husband whether that means going up with them or staying back. But I'm now having already to keep up 75% of the conversations at the house when we visit. My husband also barely says anything to his family when we visit making it even more awkward. So there really is nothing more I can do. I'm not part of their ethnic background and that probably is the crux of their issue with our family and that's never going to change.[/quote]
