This is happening with my 8 year old DS as well.  I think it might be part of the age group.  They start self segregating and can be really nasty to one another.  It seems to be less extreme with boys since my son still seems to have friends, but I definitely notice a shift.  Hugs to you.  I would speak with the teacher and counselor about this bullying behavior.  [/quote]
