I think this is a good assessment.

They're going to continue with just two K classes at Shepherd next year, and there seems to be an influx of young families - so it's hard to predict how the outflow from "free PK" to private will compare with the influx of families tired of playing the lottery game.[/quote]

Based on this data, I'm not so sure you'll get in at Shepherd. Last year for K they offered 6 lottery spots, and only 2 waitlist offers later. So - it'll be close.[/quote]
