[/quote] OP's son is not a movie star, and a lot of us think scruff doesn't look nice but shows poor grooming habits. Grown men should either have a beard or shave regularly. Movie stars! I am sure even these movie start shaved if they were 15 and among the only kids in HS to have a full beard. Plus there is a big difference in look of a mature scruff and teen scruff! I see so many teen boys at DD's HS, and I think what a really difficult time appearance and behavior wise that must be for boys.[/quote]
