You will have strengths and weaknesses within the subtests. Variations over 2 SD is significant. [/quote] New poster here, but even then, is a 2 SD difference necessarily problematic? Both of my kids had huge variations within the WMI. One had a 3 SD difference between picture span (16) and digit span (7), and the other had a 2.7 difference, with digit span of 18 and picture span of 10. The psychologist didn't necessarily see this as a problem, other than as a possible red flag for ADHD for the kid with the low digit span.[/quote]
