For FY2017, the 33% marginal rate kicks in at $191,651 for single payer, $233,351 for married filing jointly, $116,676 married filing separately or $212,501 for HoH. So it depends on your filing status where it kicks in. You make an odd assumption that everyone here is married filling jointly.
