In a recent snow storm, my 19 year old had to veer into a curb to avoid being hit from behind in snow. It only cost him a new tire - a rear end collision would have totaled his car, which has little value to anyone but him. He is a very experienced driver (works in the auto industry). I would never allow my teen to go to the movies in this weather. [/quote]
