I’ve had this in the past and it looks great on me. So she gave me the color I wanted and it looked gorgeous for a week. I only washed it once, with a very gentle shampoo, but after a week, all of the warmth returned with a vengeance.After four weeks, it was almost orange. I went back to the salon and had a toner done. That helped for a few days but soon it was orangeish again.

At my next appointment I told her I was unhappy and she told me that we might be “fighting nature” and it might not be possible for me to have a pretty, cool toned dark blonde. She once again colored it and once more, it looked good for a week and then turned brassy.

I’m giving this salon one more shot this weekend but seeing a different colorist. Do you think they need to do something different to give me the color I want? Is it possibly true that my hair is now doomed to be very warm? Is the “organic” hair color not as effective? I’m so frustrated about spending all this money and being unhappy with the result.
