Maybe we should all be afraid to get in cars because accidents kill a lot of people.  I choose not to be.  Live your life. Accidents can happen anywhere.  I wouldn’t hang out in a Conflict zone but Cancun/playa del Carmen isn’t a conflict zone [/quote]

You’re missing the point.  Is anyone arguing that Playa del Carmen is the most special place on earth? The point is you are bad at assessing risk and probably make irrational decisions in an attempt to control your out-sized anxiety.  This isn’t about vacation.[/quote]
