3 rooms - one for each grandparent, one for family. Have 7 and 9 year old hang out with grandparents or one parent while 3 year old falls asleep with a parent.
sorry, I should've been clearer. the group is: DH, me, and our 3 year old BIL, SIL, and their 2 boys My parents DH's parents
Four rooms. Request adjoining and hope that at least 1 set of rooms gets it - so you can put your 3 yo to bed and hang out with your parents or inlaws until she/he falls asleep. Thats if you are determined to be on property. What would I do? A 4-6br rental home with private pool and hot tub in Windsor Hills for about $2500 total for an entire week. Cheaper and way more comfortable.
The off property option sounds really appealing, TBH. I think most of the group really wants to be on property, to have the full, immersive experience, but I wonder if I can convince them, given the comfort aspect (and the price!) I might contact DVC first and see what they can do. If we're not satisfied with that, we might go off property.
