I don’t know if answering this is in my best interest at this juncture, but I suppose I owe an explanation.

The disparity in the answers you get from a DIL perspective versus the MIL perspective is interesting. If you post the same story from your own perspective (as the DIL), then you get one answer—usually in favor of the MIL. But if you post from the perspective of the MIL, you get a different answer, and it’s almost always in favor of the DIL. I’ve always taken away a lot of useful information from the answers from both perspectives and applied them.

Nothing I’ve ever posted wasn’t true, just the portrayal. But writing this now honestly makes me feel a little shameful. I apologize to everyone I’ve deceived and vow not to do it again. [/quote]
