Come one, PP. We all care to some extent how we are viewed by others. If I didn’t care how I fit in with others, I would wear my wedding dress and slippers daily. Fashion is about looking good and standing out in a good way, not just standing out for the hell of it.[/quote]

Carrying a leather backpack instead of an ugly canvas backpack is hardly standing out for the hell of it. It's not even standing out. Leather bags are pretty common in the US. [/quote]
