Yes, the Mexican "Lodges" are definitely something I can't wrap my head around.  I can definitely imagine the writers' room for this show:  "Hey, their hair is BLACK!  Let's make them Mexican you guys!  Then we'll have some "ethnics!"  And while we're at it, we'll have Veronica sing "Bittersweet Symphony" at church for her confirmation!  Because that would DEFINITELY happen at church!  And let's have a bunch of mobsters come to her confirmation because that's a thing!"

This was silly but also incoherent in the narrative.  Cheryl burnt the house down, and scared the shit out of her mom, but now her mom doesn't give a shit what Cheryl thinks.  What?

Also, did Cheryl's mom sleep with Hal?  They just introduced that idea and left it.  Because Riverdale.

And "Chec" or whatever his name is, is so ridiculously campy/creepy.  Seriously, who would let that guy in their house?

I am only watching the next episode to see what is going on with Alice cleaning up a dead body and a pool of blood.  Alice is my favorite character.[/quote]
