My DD used to finish 70 page book in one sitting I remember the book was -big max by Kin Platt when she was 3 and a half. Also she was able to appreciate the funny jokes in the books. In grade II where they are expected to be at grade level by end of spring she is above grade level on Iready. First grade end of year DRA was at 24. She is already in level II. She gets distracted easily now and has so many things that she is interested in. She needs help so she spends sometime doing math. She thoroughly enjoys reading. 
Math she is on level with algebraic thinking and geometry but still needs a better hang of numbers and arithmetic  and is below grade level at last assesment for this one aspect. She did not feel challenged at all since pre-k, K and first grade. I actually have no idea about how advanced the math will  be in AAP. So I worry if its going to be hard. In math she is already mastered addition and subtraction of three digit numbers with regrouping and can solve word problems involving multiplication and division and basic fractions. She is already receiving level II services.[/quote]
