No she didn't.  She went to the Olympics.  The fact that she didn't get the gold was due to someone else beating her, outpeforming her.  Nothing else.  She actually wasn't a particularly great person either, if you'll recall.  (I'm assuming you're old enough to remember her behaviour post-medal).  She also had an affair with and then married her manager.

+100. She got clubbed in the knee but a bunch of trailer trash and then had to publicly recover. I don't give two chits about her post-medal behavior; her mental state during the competition had to be affected by what happened. Agree 100% w/PP... we will never how she would have performed had she not been attacked.

Tonya Harding and her ilk are disgusting excuses for human beings. Those Hollyweirdos tried to make about abuse as it relates to classicism, etc... There are plenty of people who came from poor backgrounds that went on to great things and not club people in the knee.[/quote]
