Other than that I see Hogan winning re-election. A big clue is how the state Democrats have so far failed to turn out a truly capable candidate or rally behind one. It's as if the Democratic establishment isn't serious about wanting to win this election and are just watching the the wannabe sacrificial victims compete against either other. The potentially big names are staying away and the big players in Annapolis who control the machinery don't seem to care either. They even seem to like Hogan.

As such, Hogan will probably sweep the Baltimore suburbs and Howard County and carry the rest of the non-DC parts of the state where people are not as politically ideological and Democrats tend to be more moderate. Baltimore City, Montgomery County, PG County and now Charles County will likely vote for whoever wins the Democratic nomination, but will the margin be high enough to defeat Hogan? [/quote]
