[quote=Anonymous]I just did Whole 30. Lost about 7-8 lbs but wasn't overweight to start, just trying to get rid of post baby weight. You do get sick of meat after a bit (I jokingly called it a meat cleanse.) I used the our paleo life.com recipes and shopping list, they were really great (and free.). Key is to shop the perimeter of the grocery store - veggies, fruits, meats, eggs. Also I found preserves like artichoke hearts, hearts of palm, and olives really helpful, also sweet potatoes and dried mangos are great! I like to cook but it is a lot of peeling, chopping and cooking from scratch so be prepared to have a new weekend hobby for a bit. My starch and sugar cravings were finally really low by week 3 & Energy level noticeably higher in afternoons. Had some weird diarrhea at one point I think from too many nuts/coconut fat. Started eating rice and that helped. I keep the no bread and basically no refined sugar part still going. I added back in rice, some dairy (butter, milk in coffee). Doesn't feel like much of a sacrifice anymore (even though I used to make brownies 2x's a week!!!). It really helped shape some healthy habits, surprisingly. Am Only in month 2, though. Good luck!
