I'm in PP and there are things available. Nextdoor.com has info on that. Also I haven't looked but see if you can get a copy of The Palisadian Post, if they have ads. Actually if you just call them, they can answer your question. (310) 454-1321. Also, have you tried realtor.com? For 90272. There are apartments on Sunset right in the Palisades. (fyi noisy motorcycles on Sunday and Wednesday nights, but only lasts 5 min. But annoying and this will not be going away but that's a different story) And btw, parts of Santa Monica are very close, and they have rent control! We used to live on 7th st. just south of Montana Ave. and north of Wilshire. Around there are lots of apartments, and they are walking to The 3rd St. Promenade, and Montana has shops. Great area. My now DH had rent control but I didn't have rent control because I lived upstairs in a detached garage and rent control rules didn't apply--if you can't get rent control because of demand, then go for that type of situation. to PP's thought of Topanga, it's soooo close as the crow flies but so far to drive, and the PCH backs up in the morning. I'd stay away from anything that requires using the PCH (so that rules out Sunset Mesa neighborhood, e.g. Coastline Dr. as well) Personally I'd look in Santa Monica first. hope this helps!
Thank you so much!!
