they don't do IUI if you have more than 2-3 follicles. That is NOT OHSS.  That would be if you had 25+ follicles. Yes, meds are the same as in IVF but the doses are many times lower.[/quote]

I guess my RE was wrong with her diagnosis... because someone on an anonymous forum thinks you can't get OHSS after an IUI? I'll be sure to pass that along. With a medicated IUI you receive supplementary HCG doses AFTER the IUI, which can trigger OHSS. Which is what happened to me. Thanks for your helpful answer to my question though![/quote]

NP here. Yea, you lost me on this one, OP. The only medication after the IUI for me was the progesterone suppositories. No HGC beyond the trigger shot.[/quote]
