How would your OHSS influence your beta numbers? I’m also convinced that physical symptoms are so singular and unreliable as indicators of the health of your pregnancy. I’ve been pregnant (with results ending in healthy kids) twice and both times through IVF. At no point in my first trimester did my physical symptoms resemble what I was told to expect - no nausea, only internittent breast soreness, etc.
No, I must have put this wrongly. I'm not implying my OHSS would influence the beta numbers - I meant that the numbers were okay (a little low) for where I am, but I'm worried it's leftover from the hormone shots I received, because the OHSS symptoms are completely gone, and I read that OHSS should only get worse if I'm actually pregnant. I had another beta done today so I just have to wait and see what the numbers are now. It's just really frustrating not to know. I have to agree with you, judging individual symptoms is a fool's errand. This is my third pregnancy (previous two ended in miscarriages) and each time it was something different. The last pregnancy was also achieved through a medicated IUI and I had no OHSS, though the hormone dose I received last time was actually higher.
