I have a nut allergy and posted a review stating that a resort we stayed at only had soap and bath products that contained almond oil. It was an issue because they didn't get me new soap until 2 days into our stay. TripAdvisor didn't post my review. I thought it was important for people to know that they should bring their own soap if they had a nut allergy and were planning to stay there, especially because it was a family friendly resort.
Wow you are high maintenance. It's not the resorts responsibility to prevent against every single allergy a customer may have. Everyone is allergic to something, so it's buyer beware. You're a prima donna.
I disagree. Maybe if it was something like all the coffee was flavored with hazelnut then that could be avoided, but all the soap on the resort? Who brings their own soap with them to a resort? It's reasonable to expect to be able to wash your hands.
I always travel with my own soap. I like Caress, so there are always at least a couple bars of it in my suitcase. Plus, if you can't use the hotel soap, go buy some! It's an item you can easily get from either the hotel store in the Libby, or a quick run to a nearby drugstore or even gas station. I think it's stupid that you expected the hotel to supply you alternative soap because your allergic to theirs. People who are that sensitive to things should carry their own soap. My child has excess. He never uses hotel soap or lotion. When we travel, I make sure I bring several bars of Dove and his lotion, so I don't have to worry about any unwanted reactions to the hotel products. Yes you are a high maintenance prima donna. Only in America does a person get angry that a hotel waited 2 days to replace soap, as if they have multiple soaps on deck to accommodate every single special need or allergy out their. Also, most hotels, the good ones anyway, will list their bath and body products on their website, so since you are so sensitive, I'm surprised you don't read the hotel website ahead of time to determine if you'll need to bring your own soap.
