Just noticed this is the AAP forum though yall deserve to be bashed too

Fairfax basically has three types of schools/kids

The top 1/3 who bought into expensive areas (I don't blame you) or gamed the system to get into AAP (thats the bs)
The average normal kids (who are getting screwed by resoruces spent on AAP at the top and ESOL/FARMS stuff at the bottom)
The bottom kids who are mostly ESOL/FARMS and who have parents who don't value education.  Schools can't fix cultural issues.

Again it's the normal middle class kids who are getting screwed who aren't gaming the system by "getting into"  AAP and so are increasingly stuck in environments with way too many ESOL/FARMS kids who in many cases don't value education

Look at Montgomery County people, Fairfax County is well on its way to having it basically separate school systems for the elites in the west and then everyone else being pulled down by the growing ESOL/FARMS rates[/quote]
